Silver Clay Jewelry Party or Ladies Night Out

 

Get your friends together and host a jewelry making party in your home or business. 

This workshop is for anyone who wants: 

  • to a have a fun night out with friends
  • to learn the basics of silver clay jewelry
  • to make some really cool stamped silver pendants


This program is designed to give an brief overview of the silver metal clay process. You will learn what metal clay is and design & make your own silver stamped pendant. 

$55 per person includes: 

  • 2.5-3 hour workshop
  • Post workshop firing and finishing
  • 1 small silver pendant with sterling jump ring & black leather cord with clasp 16" or 18"

Time permitting you & your guests will be able to make additional pendants which can be paid for by weight. This is a great time to make gifts for family and friends.

Unfired pieces will be taken for firing and finishing and will be returned to the host in 1-2 weeks.  

Minimum 6 people. 6-8 is a great number. If there are more than 8 people I need to bring a second person so please arrange in advance if you anticipate more than 8. Maximum number of people is 16.

NEW!!! Hometown Stamps. I am currently making stamps specific to many of the surrounding towns. Stamps include town names, coordinates and zip codes. Currently I have stamps like the ones shown for Shrewsbury, Northboro, Westboro, Southborough, Grafton, Marlboro, Worcester,  Boylston & Sudbury. Custom stamps can be ordered for your group. 

 

Taught by Julie Booras: 
Julie Booras, the owner of Heart and Stone, has a degree in Fine Arts from the George Washington University where she studied photography and design. Julie has been working in metal clay and jewelry design since 2007. Julie's work has been featured in national magazines including, People, Pregnancy & Newborn and Kiwi as well as on New England's ABC's Chronicle.
