This is great introduction to jewelry making with metals for ages 10-14. During this 2 to 3 hour party your children will have the opportunity to design their own layered & textured initial silver pendant. The party guests will learn what metal clay is and some of the basic techniques such as texturing, stamping and layering.
Children will design their own pendants and then take turns working one-on-one with the instructor to make their designs come to life. Once the pieces are dry the children will adhere the pieces together and further refine pieces by sanding. When the party is over each child will have a piece ready to fire in our kiln. Heart & Stone will finish your pieces and have them ready for you to pick up with in a few days to a week.
This 2 to 3 hour party can be scheduled in advance most days or evenings with the exception of most Saturdays when we have full day intensive classes.

Metal Clay is completely non-toxic and great for all ages however due to the expense of the silver clay we recommend a minimum age of 10. Younger than is sometimes ok too. It really depends on the child. They are all so different!
